Snapshots: The Shutter Opens

I look back and remember days gone by
Brother, sister, family, a slice of life
A moment captured in time

I follow my life from young to old
Portraits of love, beauty, nature,
Anguish, shame, indifference.
All spreading their colors in the frame

My link with who I am is chained to these images
Forever connected in the synapses of my mind
Whether pleasure or pain, they are me

From dramatic sunsets to days of heartache
The birth of a child, the death of parent
Memories are who I am
Snapshots of me and my life
